To provide information to Colorado citizens, Courts Matter Colorado is keeping track of how Colorado’s Senators vote during Senate floor votes on Judicial Nominations (including cloture or “filibuster” votes). A Yes vote is a vote to confirm the nominee unless otherwise noted as a cloture vote.

Blackburn Future Vacancy progress

Senators Bennet and Gardner are responsible for screening potential federal district court candidates and forwarding names to President Obama for selection of a nominee to fill U.S. District Judge Blackburn's seat when he takes senior status in April 2016.
